Why is BATTLE necessary for the community?
BATTLE is needed because we are living in times where hate and greed are prevailing and influencing society as well as the economy. Division based on race, social class, sexual orientation, religion, gender, and political views drives a wedge between us all. This wedge can be seen on a day-to-day basis as police brutality, civilians weaponizing police/authority, and the government prohibiting human rights. We will lead by example through the mission to bring awareness to the senseless divide that keeps us from uniting as humankind.
Is BATTLE a religious organization?
No, BATTLE is not a religious organization. The values of BATTLE are to be loving, kind, compassionate, and forgiving to all people. This is our motto and it coincides with what the founder believes will bring us closer to one another. These values are exemplified in our actions and not JUST in our words. With this in mind, BATTLE is more of a faith-based organization.
Who is BATTLE for?
BATTLE is for EVERYONE! No matter who you are, how old you are, what you look like, or what you believe, BATTLE can help all people. Community outreach and educational forums are offered to enhance the livelihood of each client in multiple aspects of their life. Forums on music education as well as self-efficacy such as filing taxes, learning your rights and other vital undiscussed topics are offered to enrich our communities.
What sets BATTLE apart from any other nonprofits?
Our mission alone sets us apart. The most unique element of BATTLE is our COMPLIMENTARY vocal music emphasis as well as our education forums. The founder of the organization is a believer that music has the power to manipulate the mind, heart, and overall being of a person. This will be a key factor in demolishing the divide in our community.
How will you gauge BATTLE's success?
The success of our work can be gauged by the numbers in clientele, attendance to events, and progress reports based on clientele surveys, interviews, and testimonials. These surveys and interviews will also serve as a way for BATTLE to be more productive and efficient with our cause.
Are donations made to BATTLE tax deductible?
Yes! Any donation to The BATTLE Association is tax deductible. Please be sure to fill out the donation form before you send your donation so that we can supply you with your donation receipt.
